Rage: Discovering Hope in the Lament

Last night, I wept from deep within my gut tears that cannot be named.

Today, I know that last night I experienced a deep spiritual cleansing that overwhelmed the indignant rage that I carry daily for the multitudes of injustices that are both experienced & witnessed.

Now, there is a resurrected life-giving joy that dwells as a faithful companion to this indignant rage that compels me to carry on, carry on, carry on.

Continually, I am reminded that God dwells with us in the dark crevasses of our lament.

God is good.
God is faithful.
God is hope.
God is love
God is just.

Carry on, carry on, carry on…
